Meet the Rileys.
Let me start out by saying that I LOVE this family and I LOVED this session.
I first met Mallory about ten years ago..and if you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Mallory Riley from Live in Love Photography - you know that she is a personality that you never forget. She is fun and spunky and outgoing and her personality is just contagious. She is someone that has inspired me for a long time and I was so thrilled to get to work with her today. As a fellow photographer, finding beauty in EVERYTHING is something that we constantly strive for..and to be honest, sometimes it is hard! But Mallory makes it look SO easy. We spent our morning in Lebanon, OH - a place I have shot many, many times before...and she came up with these locations that I never would've thought of and they were AMAZING. She is an amazing artist and I truly look up to her - not only for how amazing her work is but also just how amazing of a person she is. On Mallory's business page she states that her favorite word is "Groovy" and that is truly a word that perfectly describes this blonde bombshell. She is truly an amazing and beautiful person inside and out. And I learned SO much today just by photographing her and having her photograph my family.
I have to give credit to her awesome husband Matt. I had never met Matt before but I felt like I knew him already from Mallory's facebook posts and their wedding video (OH EM GEE....if you haven't watched it..you should. And make sure you bring a box of tissues..because you'll cry your eyes out like I did!) Being a photographer, it is awkward being on the opposite side of the lens. Matt made sure to keep the session fun and he was goofy to keep Mallory comfortable the whole time. You know when you can just tell that a couple is perfect together? That was Mallory and Matt. They're just a perfect couple and it was amazing photographing them.
And lets not forget that GORGEOUS blue eyed baby girl..Miss Sedona. Is she not the cutest thing ever?! I had the pleasure of photographing Miss. Sedona's newborn pictures back in October and I cannot get over how big she is getting! And oh my gosh I could photograph those big baby blues all day long! Sedona was a trooper today. It was a bit chilly and lets be honest, most babies aren't super fond of posing for pictures...but it is clear Miss Sedona is used to it with her photographer mum!
Today was nothing short of fabulous. I loved hanging out with this gorgeous family and learning from one of the best! And of course, capturing beautiful memories!
